His assistant is great, the x-ray tech is great, but Dr. Markarian is a mess. I waited in the exam room for an hour before he came in and told me that nothing was wrong with me. I told him I was in pain and pointed out the very obvious swelling in the finger he had just examined. He showed me that the x-ray was fine - though he was looking at the wrong finger. He was surprised I was in pain, then insisted the pain was in a different part of my finger than I had indicated (over and over). He finally stated, repeatedly and very confidently, that I had injured my plantar plate. Your plantar plate is in your foot. He hardly spent 5 minutes with me, and normally that would be a bad thing, but in this case it was for the best. Stay away from this guy.
They met my expectations.
