Dr. Pugliese’s journey in medicine is a true story of one who has dedicated her life to the well-being of humanity through the field of health care. More than eighteen years of medical education, which includes medical school, two residencies, a PhD, and an Ayurvedic doctorate degree attest to her level of commitment to her chosen profession. In addition to her formal training in Dermatology, Dr. Pugliese received several Scholarships and Fellowships in Dermatology, Psycho-Dermatology and Dermatopathology in Germany, Belgium, France, Turkey, Austria, Poland, and the United States. Dr. Pugliese did residency and PhD in Dermatology at the Central Research Institute for Skin and Venereal diseases in Moscow, Russia, and training in Internal Medicine at San Juan City Hospital. She is a licensed physician in Puerto Rico and Florida. She finished a research fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at San Juan City Hospital which is part of the long list of medical training she received in recent years. In addition to the above-mentioned accomplishments, she is a multi-linguist, fluent in English, Russian, Spanish, Kazakh and Uzbek. In June of 2017, Dr. Pugliese and her family re-located to Puerto Rico. Three months after the move Hurricane Maria nearly leveled the island. She immediately became involved with the medical community by volunteering her skills as a primary care physician in local San Juan hospitals and post Hurricane Maria medical missions. The Medical Mission Emergency Team comprised of 20 doctors and nurses provided free care and medicine to the devastated island and its community. Dr. Pugliese has completed her fellowship in Integrative Medicine and certification in Aesthetic Medicine and Hormonal Replacement Therapy.
