Dr. Myint's practice is in Chinatown. At first, I was a little hesitant while waiting in the waiting room being that everyone was of Asian decent and I am a tan Hispanic woman. However, after a few minutes, I noticed everyone kept to themselves. The doctor was very professional, kind and he took his time while going over my symptoms and the medications he would prescribe.

Always a pleasant visit with Dr. Eidgah. 20 years and counting.
The interaction with the doctor was fine. However, the 1h+ wait clouded the entire experience.

Great office; receptive staff who was great at taking blood (barely felt it); attentive MD who talked issues out and was friendly.
Very thorough.
Very professional; great bedside manner.
Doctor was professional and friendly. Easy to make an appointment however they mentioned they may not be on ZocDoc much longer.
Great visit, very proffessional.
I was looking for a physician after not seeing one for a few years and Dr. Rahman proved to be an excellent option. Receptionists and nurses were friendly and helpful, blood work was done professionally and without pain, and the doctor was happy to answer all my questions and fill a prescription for me with ease. Very friendly guy, highly recommend.
Loved the people, but too long a wait
Dr Prahlad Gadhavi is a very knowledgeable and dedicated doctor. I went to see him for an illness that was potentially urgent. After our appt he made himself available on the phone to clearly provide the next steps. I ended going to ER on Saturday and Dr. Gadhavi made himself available to correspond to the staff members of the hospital. Could not recommend more.
Dr. Ast is slightly quirky, but very conscientious doctor. I felt he took my condition very seriously. It was great for me to see a doctor who is both a rheumatologist and an allergist. He did allergy testing and I found that some of my symptoms are possibly due to allergies- which is good news.

Love Dr. Chinai. He listens. The Newark office is a little run down but the care is good and his referrals have also been good.
I havent been to a Dr. Office for many years because I feared the amount of time it would take me to get in and out. This place rases the bar on every level. I was visiting for the first time. There were no leangthy paper work/wuestionair to fill out. The Dr. Assistant saw me right away. Took my viatal and did an EKG in record speed. Dr Lev was a pleasure to deal with. He did the rest of the examinations really fast. This place is highly recomended.
Fagelman is a great doctor. His office is always busy but his manner in the room with you is caring and thoughtful. His staff is very young, perhaps alarmingly young .. but they are courteous and competent in all my experiences so far.
Super nice ladies at the front desk, doctor was kind and patient and explained everything to me. In and out super quickly. Will definitely use in the future.
Professional and very easy to talk to
Had a great visit. Dr Agashiwala is kind and engaging with a good sense of humor and positive manner. The nurses I dealt with were positive and professional. I did not feel rushed and Dr Agashiwala did what was necessary to make me feel comfortable about my health.
very pleasant

Prescription Renewal
Providers generally authorize a certain number of refills when they write a prescription. This prescription renewal number is on the label of the medicine given. It is essential to track your medicines to gauge whether you require any refills. If you have exhausted the refill limit, you’ll need to let your practitioner know so that they renew it for you during your appointment. However, if you have enough medications until your next appointment, it’s best-advised not to renew, as the practitioner might make adjustments to your treatment plan. If you haven’t exhausted your refill limit, prescription refills can usually be done directly by the pharmacy either in person, by phone, online or by mail.
For medications that require a written prescription, you can book an appointment through Zocdoc for the refill or you can call your doctor’s office with the patient’s first name, last name, date of birth, the name of the medicine and your phone number. The office might require three to five days to get your prescription refilled and signed if you choose to call.
Common questions and answers about prescription refills
What do I need to know before you request a prescription refill?
It is important that you check the prescription label before you request a prescription refill. There are three things you should look out for:
- Rx number: It is not mandatory to have this number. However, most automated systems require that you have the Rx number to process the refill successfully.
- Phone number of the pharmacy: Each label contains the phone number and address of the pharmacy that’s going to process your refill.
- Refill information: The label will also contain important information about your refills, including the number of refills that remain before you have to renew it.
Often, it takes a few days to process your prescription refill requests.
What is the difference between prescription refill and renewal?
In the prescription ordered by the provider, a certain number of refills are authorized by your healthcare professional. This allows the patient to refill it up to the authorized number of times. Usually, this prescription is valid for one year, beyond which the patient cannot get any more refills without a renewal. Renewals, on the other hand, are done when the prescription expires or has no refills left and the patient is still on the medication. You can read more about refilling a prescription on KidsHealth.org.
When should I visit a doctor for a prescription refill?
If you are running out of your medication, and you need a written prescription from your practitioner, you can visit the office for a prescription renewal.
