Verified Patient Reviews
The office is only open one day a week. And so literally a week's load of patients are all crammed together for one afternoon. So for customers it's a logistical nightmare.
The visit was HORRIBLE. Upon arrival I filled out the necessary paperwork they would have put me in a room they put me in the room with the physician assistant who I didn't want to see when I requested to see the doctor that I made the actual appointment with the doctor came in did not introduce himself barely look at my knee or the MRI that I brought and then told me that he can refer me to see a knee doctor. I stood there looking confused since prior to my appointment, he knew that I was coming for a consult for my knee. And if he felt like he did not want to be bothered treating me, then why did you take my Co pay. I went to this office after reading reviews, however after personally coming from there today, I now know that the previous reviews are DEFINITELY FALSE!
Great drs.great iffice staff worth the wait if you have to
Never again. The professional is on Zocdoc, but does not respect the appointments. Yesterday his office cancelled 2 hours after confirming the Zocdoc appointment. Today his office had a different appointment time than the Zocdoc confirmation. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
He's a good doctor
Some of the nicest people I've met in a dr's office in a long time.
Fantastic office. All staff wonderful , of course including Dr. Gus Katsigiorgis!!! Would definitely recommend this practice!
1 hour and 37 minute wait after arrival, shortest wait time I've ever had with this DR. They extremely overbook on purpose.
I love the doctor he is efficient been going to him for years wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Katz was good, but the wait time was horrible.
why bother to make appt when it takes 2 hours.
I do wait a while but I totally understand that Dr. Katz is well worth the wait. love him and his staff. The best. Good things come to those who wait!
He is a superb doctor
Doctor was nice, friendly and professional. Wait time was crazy long, but their waiting room was big enough that there were seats for all.
Dr. KAT IS AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR. HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND HE LISTENS TO MY COMPLAINTS. I APPRECIATE HIM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. DR KAT YOU ARE VERY EMPATHIZING. THANKS AGAIN
I saw Dr. Moros and he was very nice, but a bit rushed.
Doctor was great and treated the problem
Long wait. Good service.
Took 45 minutes to get the clipboard to put my insurance information down. Avoid
I'm writing this while I'm still here over 3hrs. The staff and doctors are very professional however they need to improve on there wait time (TIME!!!!)
Very good doctor
I was hesitant before I went to my appointment today due to the reviews. Everyone commented on the long wait. I had a 9:00 appt. with Dr. Katsigiorgis and was taken in at around 9:15. Everyone in the office was pleasant and courteous. The Dr. came in within 10 mins.that I was brought into the room.He was very professional and greeted both myself and my husband. He was a good listener and examined me and reviewed my MRI in a very reasonable amount of time. He explained my options and gave me details.I did not feel rushed. I did print out my paper work at home off the computer before I arrived but I still feel everyone was very efficient. The only thing I might add is that the office and examining rooms could use a big update in decorating. Everything else was great!!
Dr K was the best the rest of the experience sucked my apt was 4pm and I got out of there at 6pm to think you are going to bill me please note that I will be sending you a bill for my time as no one in your office cares about the waiting time that I had to go though,i was told you just have to wait that really isn't a good answer. To book 15-18 for 4pm is a little much
He is a nice enough guy, i guess...kind of hard to tell much in the three minutes that you see him. We were there waiting for a little over two hours and then seen by the nurse practitioner. After they sent us into an xray , Dr Kats came into the room to say he needed an Mri. They do the Mri on premises and told us we could wait another hour to get it done the same day. Like idiots we chose to wait around some more. After another hour went by, they told us they were behind and it would be another hour. To make a long story a tiny bit shorter, we left and are getting the Mri somewhere else because we couldn't stay. So if you are planning on seeing the doctor...make sure you can devote your entire day to the five minutes that you will be seeing him!!
Super doctor and staff :)
The doctor is great. The wait is horrible up to 3 hours. The office take 3 weeks to get a mdi approved. IT really is just to many patients. There were people sitting on the stairs because it was so crowded.
Very pleasant staff.
confirmed the need for surgery.
4 hours wait for a 10 minute talk with a doctor. Not acceptable. Secretaries in bad moods. Not again.
It was definitely a high-volume office, more than usual. When I mentioned that my HIP center did not have an orthopedic on staff and that was why I was referred there, his response was quite positive. He said lucky for us. He handled the situation with such composure. Luckily, he had a great support staff. It was a long wait, but I was reading a good book on my Kindle so I did not mind.
It was great but service is the worst in terms of time.
I thought that Dr. K was very nice and professional. The office is the only problem. When you go for an appointment, expect a 2-3 hour wait. The office is packed and standing room only. There are at least 25 people ahead of you. The office also has additional seating on the bottom floor which is usually packed as well. The parking in the building is terrible.
He should not be allowed to practice. The office staff is overworked and stressed so some of them are short and nasty with patients.
The worst office I have ever dealt with! I arrived ten minutes early for an 11:15 appt and there were 19 scheduled appointments for the same Dr ahead of me. The receptionist was abrupt and the wait time was several hours. She acted like she was doing me a favor! No effort was made to let me know about expected wait time before I arrived Clearly the office is run like a cattle mill! I was able to find a doctor who respected my time after lodging a complaint with my insurance company
I will never go back there. Dr. K barely looks at you and the wait is loooooong. Lots of people in the waiting room. Office is in the basement with no elevator for injured people. Unbelievably bad!
not a good experience
Good he helps me alot with my questions what i was having
Great Doctor. Worth the wait!!
It was a mad house, due to emergencies. The girls in the office were spectactular. I would have had a nervous breakdown. Amellia was fantastic, such poise and control. The girls in the office who helped me with my knee brace were great. The others at the main desk were clearing up the mess and doing a fantastic job. Having three offices together in one day. They deserve a RAISE.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! First off it took two hours before I could finally see the doctor. The place is a WALK IN clinic, so there's no point in making an appointment. When I finally got into the consultation room, the doctor didn't even bother asking me any questions. The whole consultation took about one minute or less. He didn't tell me what was wrong, just told me I needed an MRI. I went there at eleven by the time I got out it was one thirty. I'm making another appointment with another doctor for the same problem. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Service is good but they wait time is ridiculous even after I was done being scene took hours to get my appointment for next time
Dr. Kats is down-to-Earth and professional and listens to my needs and concerns.
it was good
Worst Doctor office
The doctor was professional and appropriate however I waited for three and a half hours in an office where patients were treated like cattle. A horrible experience. This office unethically triple books appointments , over books, and backs patients that are suffering and in pain into a small room like sardines and many are not even able to sit because there are no chairs left. They are made to wait and stand and suffer in pain for 3 to 4 hours. Worst office I have ever been to in my life.
Waited a long time and he only spent about 3 minutes with me.
The office is way overcrowded and overbooked. You come out feeling like you are part of a heard than you are a patient. Everyone in the office was courteous and professional but the accommodations left a lot to be desired and the waiting was really unacceptable. I have dealt with DR K before and he is a good Dr. but his extremely long wait times is really unacceptable. I arrived at 4:30 for a 4:45pm appointment and left the office at 7:40pm. That is just way to long of a wait.
Poorly organized office. The older secretary at the front desk is very unprofessional to patients and colleges. This practice seems more focus on what they can charge your insurance for than actually listening to patients and their concerns. I arrive with XRAYS in hands that I took 3 Days earlier at another facility and the doctor that saw me first glance at my chart and told me that I have to get another Xray. When I asked him why, he said that he needs to getter a better image, even though he had not looked at my current films. Only after finding out that I was also in the medical field did he agreed to having Dr. Katsigiorgis see me. Dr. Katsigiorgis spent all of about 30 seconds with me and recommended I use one of their adjunct to the sling I already had (cost of $35) and recommended and MRI. I had to wait another hour before I could be seen by their check-out secretary, then another hour spent in MRI. I arrived this office at 330pm for a 345pm Appointment and was greeted with a crowded waiting room with no seats available and people standing in crutches and braces, only to be seen by a very angry older secretary whom seemed more focused and getting me to pay my co-pay before even being seen or even answer any of my questions. My experience at this office left me with the impression of a practice is more focus on what they can charge the insurance companies for instead of evidence based practice. Its offices like these whose majority of patients are of those of lower socio-economic class ( patients that usually don't ask doctors the "why questions") that drives up our health care cost. Whether or not Dr. Katsigoriorgis is a good surgeon or not is a mystery for I only spent 30 seconds with him and over 2.5 hours with the rest of his administrative staffs whom made me feel like a dollar sign instead of a someone in needed of medical attention. I would not recommend this practice.
The doctor himself was wonderful but teh wait time is INSANE! I would recommend seeing this doctor at another of his offices since this one is located directly next to an ER which probably explains the volume of patients
Not satisfactory. Office was so dirty and doctor only talked to me for less than 2 minutes. He did not explain to me what was wrong with me he was in a rush.
I wish every doctor was as personable and respectful as him
good dr. but his office is crowded because appointment s are triple booked like a factory
It was alright. He check whats going and refer an Xray then he told the nurse what to do and give us explanation.
Too fast of a visit. Waste of time. Still in so much pain, prescribed nothing for me just a referral. I expected so much more. I thought the wait would have been worth it.
The visit with the physician was VERY short, and the wait time was LONG!! He diagnosed my issue in 2 minutes. He seems efficient.
Although I understand how busy medical practices can become, the "Assembly-Line" atmosphere at Dr. Katsigiorgis's practice significantly detracts from any possible understanding of exactly what it is which might be "ailing" the patient. I never was given the opportunity to ask any questions; those I did pose were the result of either interrupting the Dr. on his way out, or (once) being forced to ask my question while he was attending another patient..... To his credit, Dr. Katsigiorgis demonstrated procedural efficiency when he administered a Cortico-Steroid injection into my hip. He was quick and confident in it's administration, though this is hardly a difficult procedure. Hopefully, my experience was just a very, very busy day....I have a follow-up next week.....I'll so my best to keep you posted.....
They assest me good w/ follow up appoiment
Unprofessional!! I had a 2pm appt and arrived at 145pm and was told the dr. Doesn't start until 3 and I would have to sign in and it's first come first served!! Several patients are booked for the same time meaning making an appt doesn't make since because they don't go by your appt time.
My appointment was not forwarded to the doctors office from ZocDoc service. I am gla I called to confirm this morning prior to my appointment.
Patience paid off, very personable, caring and answered all my questions. Having me come back early for a follow up to make sure I'm healing properly. Whole staff is great!
It was okay. It was overcrowded, over boooked. The only good thing was I got some tests done right away.
This was my 3rd visit First two were for my shoulder. I decided to return for an issue with my knee. Very nice Dr and staff as well
The Doctor was very professional and caring of his paitents. I had the first appointment of the day and got there a half an hour early, and there were already four people ahead of me. By the time the appointment came around there were eight people sitting there. Thats right I said eight people. I asked at the desk what was going on and the girl said they book more than one paitent at a time. Be prepared for a long wait.
My appt was actually changed to Dr. Miller last minute which was ok by me as the office called me ahead of time to let me know of the change. Dr. Miller was thorough in his examination of my neck and shoulders, helping isolate what could be the root cause of pain.
Doctor and staff are good they treat me excelent
He seemed very professional and thorough.
Did not address my condition correctly at all. The office conditions were horrible. The office was situated in a way that you had to go down a long set of steep stairs to get to the waiting room. I saw many poor patients on crutches trying to hobble down the stairs trying not to hurt themselves and make their condition worse by falling down them. There were about ten seats in the waiting room and twenty people waiting to be seen. A lot of people standing for over an hour waiting for their appointment because there were not enough seats. I suspect by the way the patient's were treated and how overbooked the office was this practice is only in it for the $$$$$. My wait time was around 2 hours and fifteen minutes and definitely not worth the wait at all. The doctor spent two seconds with me and did absolutely nothing to treat my condition. Do yourself a favor. Don't bother with this place. Anything is better.
A great doctor but the office is overbooked.
wow! the receptionists were curteous ,the radiologist was very nice, the doctor spoke to me in a clear manner, the office set up a mri appt. for me. Excellent service.Convenient location Thanks ZocDoc.
There were around 200 people scheduled for the same time appointment. level of service was awful. They preety much rushed me out the door and did not address my concerns. Totally appalled that there are doctors who can get away with service like this.
He was great. I wish it didn't take so long waiting for him
Very professional gave great advice. Awesome staff. very busy practice
dr kats is excellent.super bedside manner and apologized for wait :}
Doctor Gus is very warm and attentive. The staff members were friendly. Very busy office, but that's okay.
VERY NICE BUT NEEDS MAKE IMPROVEMENTS ON WAITING ROOM AND APPEARANCE OF OFFICE
It was a pleasant enough experience but i dont want to return for arthriis. Cancel our aptmt for 9/11 Thank you
Everyone in his office was friendly and he was very professional and explained my injury to me.
Very happy with him
Dr.Gus gave it to me straight forward and answered all my questions. He has a great presence and was very kind. His staff was just as nice and very informative when doing their job while serving my needs. Good choice my wife made with taking me there.
The doctor was thorough, polite, and took an extra step to help find out the source of my pain that my last doctor did not. Staff was helpful too.
Dr. Gus was straightforward and honest. Answered all my questions and gave me specific instructions on how to treat my injury.
Pleasant and easy going comfortable to speak to.
Very courteous and professional, except receptionist who had me standing for a few minutes before acknowledging me. still waiting for MRI appt/referral information for 3 days!
I liked Dr. Katsigiorgis. His office clearly overbooked, but once you get in, I found him to be professional, interested in my problem and left me feeling at ease that I was now on the right track in recovery.
Overall great doctor.
He was very busy but had an awesome bedside manner!
Very nice Dr.He was running a little late but luckily I had nowhere to go. Very pleasant and explained what the treatment for my injury entailed, including all possible scenarios.
The office is crazy, insane busy. However we asked if we could leave and return and that was fine. The MRI's are just downstairs with no wait when we were there which was so convenient.
Dr Gus Katsigiorgis was very attentive and advise me what further steps I needed to take, the office was very efficent in getting authorization for a further exam. very pleased with my visit and would absolutely recommend the Dr katsigiorgis
Dr. Kats is great. Highly recommend.
Great Doctor and staff. My son was in pain and the Dr and the technician made him feel comfortable. thank you
Busy office, but was seen fast, on premise x-ray, mri, and physical therapy allowed for an immediate assessment and treatment plan- very helpful. Dr. Katsigiorgis was a pro through and through-friendly professional staff too.
He was wonderful. Only complaints are lack of parking/seating, but could have been the time of day...
Dr Gus will always be on the top of my list as one of the best Doctors in his field. As a former client ..i highly recommend him to family and friends.
Dr. Katsigiorgis diagnosed the knee problem quickly. He explained the issues clearly and provided a course of action which should alleviate the pain.
