So grateful for this experience with Dr Kupfer. She listened to my history of losing my hearing and was so accommodating with my anxiety of the hearing tests. Dr Kupfer is hands down one of the most amazing doctors I have ever seen. I came to see her because of spontaneous-onset tinnitus that was quite frankly ruining my life. She was extremely kind and comforting, gave me a thorough examination, explained what tinnitus was and why I was experiencing it, and some strategies to help it, including hearing aids that would be set to pick up the frequency of sound my brain was having trouble hearing, thus, was making that sound in my head to make up for it.- so to hear that there was actually some help that I could get for this scary situation, was so helpful and a relief. Plus she is incredibly sweet, professional, I love the cozy neighborhood where her practice is, and she explained everything to me in a way that was understandable and calming. Would recommend her in a HEARTBEAT!! thanks so much, Doc! (p.s. Even tho my insurance was listed as out of network, I was actually in network, so it might be worth it to call her office to see if your insurance is accepted.)
