What should a new client know about working with you?

At Able Journey NP In Psychiatry LLC, we believe that every mental health journey is unique, and we’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way. We are dedicated to providing you with expert care infused with compassion and understanding, ensuring that you feel supported and empowered as you navigate your path to well-being. Let’s embark on this journey together!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial appointments focus on a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, including a review of your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle factors, and personal goals. This diagnostic process allows for a thorough understanding of your experience, supports an accurate clinical assessment, and gives you time to ask questions and actively participate in developing your treatment plan. Follow-up visits provide ongoing Evaluation and Management (E/M) services combined with psychotherapy. These sessions may involve checking how your symptoms are doing and how well the treatment is working, managing and changing medications if needed, talking about your thoughts and feelings, handling stress, and learning ways to cope, along with making decisions together to help you stay well in the long run. Care is delivered in a supportive, non-judgmental environment, with treatment plans reviewed and adjusted over time to remain aligned with your goals and clinical needs.

Haja has been an incredible asset in my mental health journey. She’s very prompt in her response to messages and feels very accessible. It’s rare that I feel that way about a healthcare provider. She’s worked with me to find a new medication to fit my budget and is understanding and compassionate in the process. Can’t recommend her enough.
Warm, caring, and a true advocate for mental health. As someone who feels the after effect of years of the stigma around matters of the mind
