About Dr. Hajir Dilmanian

Hajir E. Dilmanian, MD, is the director of echocardiography at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and a clinical professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Dilmanian is a noninvasive cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular diseases and nuclear cardiology. He sees patients with conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation. His areas of interest include structural heart disease and cardiac epidemiology. He also treats ALS, aortic aneurysm, coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia, mitral valve prolapse, and assists patients with smoking cessation. He has contributed research to publications in echocardiology and cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. After earning his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical School, Dr. Dilmanian completed both his internship and residency at New York University Medical Center. He then served his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

I HIGHLY DONT recommend The worst cardiologist ever and his office too!!! I see him about my health and ask him to check whats going with my heart because something not right i have body fluid retention and my pcp referred me to see one,the wait time is horrible. The consultation was also horrible it was short barely couple of questions no testing and then he sends me home saying that I will receive a heart monitor sent to my home I received the heart monitor and I wear it for two weeks as direct the office said that I need to have an appointment to come back for two tests after they get in the heart monitor record and it’s been a month. Nobody reached out to me! Im having heart ache and i dont know why!No one scheduled me an appointment and before I left the hospital that same day I told them and I asked them can you schedule appointments for me and no one did that. They didn’t even come to check me out. I had to wait half an hour inside the room and i had to go and check myself out!
