About Hamid Bamshad
Hamid Bamshad, RPA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who provides comprehensive medical and dermatologic care for patients with the utmost care and compassion.
He graduated with honors from Touro Medical College in June 1987 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Touro College and University System. He then worked at Mount Sinai Hospital of Manhattan and ODA Healthcare Center of Brooklyn in the internal medicine and pediatrics departments for around 10 years. Following his passion, he has worked as a Physician Assistant in dermatology since 2001. He is trained to treat all ages and skin types. His passion is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment he finds in keeping them healthy and well. His dedication to dermatology is evident in the time he spends with each patient.
H. Bamshad, RPA-C, is an expert in treating all types of acne and warts. His knowledge in treating eczema, hair loss, abscesses, fungal, viral, and bacterial infections, keloids, inflammatory rashes and lesions, skin discolorations, and other skin, hair, and nail conditions is remarkable.
In general, all patients are treated by him with the most advanced techniques and old-fashioned care. Knowing multiple languages is another reason patients feel comfortable with him.
