Dr. Harsha Kannan is passionate about helping patients find lasting relief through compassionate, holistic and personalized car. He combines advances interventional techniques with a thoughtful, patient-first approach- taking the time to listen and build treatment plans that restore function and improve quality of life. Originally from Richmond, VA, Dr. Kannan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a Master's in Physiology and Biophysics at VCU School of Medicine. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kannan completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and fellowship training in interventional Pain Management at Thomas Jefferson University Health System in Philadelphia, PA. Now back in Houston with his wife, he's honored to serve the community and provide patients with expert care and a clear path to a more active, pain-free life. Outside of work, Dr. Kannan enjoys art, music and culture, outdoor adventures, spoken word poetry, and spending quality time with his wife, their dog, and loved ones.
