About Dr. Hazim Muhammad
Dr. Hazim Muhammad joined Rheumatology Associates in 2024. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Muhammad received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He then moved to Houston where he completed his rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the Texas Medical Center.
At UT Houston, Dr. Muhammad had the opportunity to train with world renown rheumatologists and gained experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He also participated in research aimed towards improving patient safety in rheumatology.

Dr. Muhammad was great! He was willing to listen to my concerns and take the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions.
I've gotten so used to doctors being dismissive, condescending, and always rushing to move on to the next patient that it was a breath of fresh air interacting with Dr. Muhammad.
The office was very clean and the staff were all friendly and very helpful.

Absolutely amazing bedside manner, listened very thoroughly and explained what my options were. He had experience with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos which isn’t always common as well as an understanding of what my other chronic conditions were.
