About Heather Kirby

Growing up on a cattle ranch in Colorado, I developed a deep appreciation for wholesome meals and the impact they have on our well-being. My interest in nutrition began at a young age when I would help my mother and grandmother prepare meals for the hardworking individuals on our ranch. However, it was my grandmother's diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease that sparked my curiosity about the role of nutrition in disease prevention. In 2010, I became a registered dietitian after completing my bachelor’s degree in food science and human nutrition at Colorado State University followed by a dietetic internship through the University of Delaware distance program. I then completed a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Colorado State University Global Campus.
