I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. It is my honor to be able to treat my fellow community members for mental illness and substance use disorders. My practice focuses on treating every one of my patients without judgement and with only compassion and empathy. I specialize in treating adults with substance use disorders and those adults who need mental health care. I try to provide an environment that is laid back and supportive, no judgement, no intimidation. I believe that we are all on Earth to help one another and that we are on an even playing field. I have been passionate about providing treatment and resources for people with mental health needs for as long as I can remember, so many people that I love suffer from mental illness and substance use disorder. In 2016, I decided to dedicate my life to helping people with substance use disorder and mental health needs, so I became licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I believe that my patients should set and define their own goals, and I will provide support for the implementations they design to attain those goals. Our first session together is an opportunity to get to know one another and to determine what the patient would like to address.
