What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe you already hold the answers to your own healing. My role is to walk alongside you — offering expertise, perspective, and structure — as you uncover them and realize your full potential. From our first conversation, you can expect a thorough, unhurried approach. I take the time to truly understand your history, your goals, and what matters most to you. When it comes to treatment, I'll lay out all of your options clearly — the benefits, the trade-offs, and the evidence behind each — so you're never left guessing or feeling rushed into a choice. We'll weigh the possibilities together and arrive at a treatment plan and path forward that you feel genuinely confident about. This is a collaboration: your insight into your own life, paired with my clinical guidance, shaping care that fits you. My philosophy is to begin with the gentlest intervention appropriate for your situation. Depending on your needs, that may mean starting with psychotherapy, lifestyle and integrative strategies, or other non-medication approaches before considering more intensive options. When medication is the right fit, I'll explain why and make sure it feels right to you. The goal is always the care that fits you best, not more treatment than you need. My goal is that you leave each appointment feeling heard, informed, and empowered — not just treated, but understood.
