You are not alone. There is hope. Asking for help is not easy, and finding a provider you trust to help you navigate mental health care can be a challenge. You don't need to suffer alone. I am here to help you. I provide HIPAA-compliant telepsychiatry services for medication management and/or psychotherapy in the state of California, allowing you to receive psychiatric treatment in the privacy and comfort of your home or work.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Newport Beach, California. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with an emphasis on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in 2014. I became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2016 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2019.

I work with patients collaboratively and strive to understand how each person's life experiences affect their symptoms in the context of their unique circumstances, relationships, and medical backgrounds.
I care about treating the whole person and exploring the connection between your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual lives. I am passionate and committed to providing patient-centered mental health care that optimizes, promotes, and enhances an individual's mental health and well-being.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Helene is very empathetic and wise. She has helped me to get the help and care I need, not only medically but in my personal growth as well. Helene has an incredible ability to uncover people’s blind spots that they can’t see themselves, find a medical solution to aid in healing and recovery, and then on top of it to help the client to come to new realizations of empowerment and freedom through talk therapy. She gives the experience of speaking with a doctor, a life coach, and a therapist all-in-one!! She has a very positive attitude and is very patient as well. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Helene Morel.
