Patient reviews for Dr. Henry Wu
My Visit with Dr Wu was A Really Nice Experience! I wish he could be my Primary Care Provider! I would Surely Recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Cardiologist!!!
I’ve been to many different doctors and specialists in the city and I can confidently say that Dr. Wu is one of the best I’ve seen. He listened to all my concerns carefully, conducted tests and gave me a diagnosis quickly. He is incredibly smart and super friendly, and I felt very safe in his care. I would recommend him to all my friends and family, superb doctor!!
Very friendly, attentive listened to all of my concerns and I will definitely be back for my follow-up appointment
Dr. Henry Wu was courteous to me and has up to date equipment in his office. His bedside manner is par excellence. A great Cardiologist.
It was a good experience. The staff was also helpful and lovely.
I was very satisfied with my visit.
Fine experience. Kind of pretty impersonal and somewhat curt.
The doctor was pleasant, thorough, and efficient. The office and staff were fantastic. Highly recommended.
Dr. Wu took his time to explain what steps he was going to take in managing my cardiac condition, his staff was very friendly and professional. I look forward to my next visit with him.
A gem. Pure professional, thoghtful and the resume and specialization to back up his expertise.
The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I was thoroughly taken care of and looked after. Highly recommend.
Excellent professional practice.Staff was very focused & efficient.Dr Wu was warm, very informative & sharp
Dr. Wu and the staff were pleasant, professional and attentive during my visit. My exam was thorough and explained clearly as well. If anyone is looking for a cardiologist, look no further!
It took a little while to be seen, but once my name was called things went relatively quickly. Dr. Wu and his staff are all friendly and they explain everything thoroughly. No question is too small! I haven't had my follow up exam yet but he was really knowledgeable from the beginning and I would visit his office again.
He asked many questions........did not rush........took all my vitals......answered all the questions I asked, very attentive, very personable........and his staff is great.........I am glad I found him.
My visit with Dr. Wu was what I would expect from a cardiologist. I had an EKG and a sonogram of my heart during my appointment. Dr. Wu did the sonogram himself which was excellent. I didn't have to go to another room and wait for an assistant or tech to do it. I wish I would have known that this office didn't have the stress test equipment; I have to go to his other office, another day, to have the stress test.
Great Cardiologist! It was my first visit and the experience overall was excellent! Dr wu not only took his time to listen to what i had to say but made me feel at ease..i was treated quickly, and the staff were all very friendly and polite! The waiting was short and the office very clean...I highly recommend this place!
Dr. Wu was extremely professional and knew exactly how to approach my issue, especially considering it was regarding my heart. I will continue to see him.
Professional :-)
Dr. Henry Wu was really great. He listened to all of my concerns and explained everything to me very plainly. He's got great bedside manner, too!
The doctor did a great job and was very thorough. Getting seen was delayed because the front desk had some trouble with verifying my insurance, not because of anything the doctor himself did.
Dr. Wu gave me ample time to tell my situations and he then examined me to answer my questions accurately.
The office was so clean, receptionist polite and Dr Wu just lovely - nice, straight to the point and so kind when I needed an explanation in "layman" terms. The whole place ran with a quiet, easy matter of the fact way.
Very Professional,I am an African American woman.I walk into the office and saw all Chinese people..the staff at front desk was very respectful and nice. The Doctor saw that I wanted to know about my heart that's his specialty and he focus right in on it .Very dedicated person.I am grateful that I step out of the box to meet a great Doctor..
He listened carefully to my situation, asked a lot of questions. Very friendly and professional.
Terrible. His personal assistant lacks enough experiences
The entire support staff was helpful, polite and attentive. They are friendly and professional, a pleasure to be there. Dr. Wu is a very thorough diagnostician and talks to you in non doctor speak. He has a very busy office, yet maintained a very professional manner.
Dr. Wu was great! He really tries to understand his patients' needs. He's efficient and knowledgeable.
The waiting room is a little chaotic, as there was a packed house on a Thursday at 11am. The nurses were very sweet, and Dr. Wu was very thorough, kind and to-the-point.
Excellent Doctor. Asked questions, had technician perform test and later Doctor explained results. Staff were very courteous and accomodating.
Dr. Henry Wu was highly professional. Listened to all my concerns keenly and recommended the next course of action. Front staff were cordial and helped me calm my tension.
It was my first visit and i found the visit great. I had multiple tests and they were done very quickly. I had to wait for one test ( machine was occupied ) and the staff let me know how long the wait would be and if i wanted to leave and come back that my place would be held. Dr. Wu was very clear in explaining all test results and how i should move forward.
Everyone was very nice and professional.
Dr. Wu is a very smart, calm, professional and considerate cardiologist. When he asks a question, he listens carefully to your answers. He is also very informative and gives very thoughtful and intelligent answers. He is respectful and is happy to explain his reasons for recommending a specific course of treatment. His staff is also kind and professional. My only complaint is that the waiting room is too cold.
I was very impressed with Dr. Wu. He was very personable and professional. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He then explained how we'll proceed and conducted a series of tests right in his office, including a heart ultrasound. His office staff was also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Dr. Wu!
I thought he did a superb job - very thorough. Definitely would recommend him to a friend.
What a pleasant staff! Dr. Wu was also an amazing doctor!
Very attentive to my needs.
Dr. Wu is great! He is very professional and always readily available to answer any question or concern. I also liked the flexibility of late afternoon/evening appointments since I work. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family. His staff are also great and friendly people.
Very thorough and took time explaining test results and what the next steps might be
*The 2 stars are for his assistant, NOT Dr.Wu and his ECHO assistant* Dr.Wu was very professional, nice and friendly. I highly recommend him. He listened to my concerns and recommended me to get certain procedures done. On the other hand, the nurse didn't speak much of English and was not clear when she tried to answer my questions. Since I was a new patient, I had to get my height and weight done for the record. The nurse measured my height wrong and when I told her my correct height, she ignored me. The part where it threw me off was when she performed my EKG. She did not warn me that she was going to open my robe and start performing the procedure. She just told me to lay down on the bed, and I was laying on the bed for about a minute and suddenly she got up from her chair, opened my robe and exposed my chest. It felt VERY uncomfortable and unprofessional that she did not tell me that she was going to perform the EKG. I was supposed to get a heart monitor today but due to my outfit and my errands I was going to run later, I asked her if I can come in Thursday and have that done. She said, "Okay" and when she looked down to write in my chart, she laughed, and laughed again. I don't know why my request was funny to her and why she had to laugh twice. She is a middle aged thin Chinese lady with glasses. I would avoid her if I go next time. The ECHO technician was very nice, she told me that she was going to perform the procedure and she made she I was in a comfortable position before she started the procedure. She also showed me the heart pictures and explained to me what the screen was showing. I forgot her name but she was very helpful.
Most excellent cardiologist.
I will never go back to this practice, as I do not trust them. The low rating is due to the insurance issue. When I booked the appointment, I confirmed that the doctor was in network on zocdoc. When I checked in at the office, I again confirmed that the doctor was in network. Now, weeks later, I received a bill saying that the doctor was actually out of network asking me to pay a significant amount. I am EXTREMELY upset by this deception and am following up with zocdoc and the office to resolve. The reason I chose this practice was because it was in network. I am literally being asked to pay the price for trusting this site.
Felt to made at east and attended to from the instant I walked in the door. The front office staff was courteous and attentive. Dr. Wu was a real pro and thoroughly explained everything. A really great doctor and office. If I ever need a cardiologist again (hopefully not), I will definitely be seeing Dr. Wu.
Dr. Wu was courteous, professional, and showed that he really cared. He took the time to answer my questions and didn't make me feel like he was trying to rush me out, unlike other doctors I've worked with in the past. I would highly recommend him for any cardiology needs!
I love Dr. Wu I think he is a great doctor, very knowledgable and very kind. He understands how sensitive the heart can be and he treats his patients very well. I am glad I found him.
Dr. Wu was very thorough and kind. His office is very well run.
Dr. Wu was attentive and knowledgeable, and even asked me how I was doing months later via text!
Dr. Wu was a good listener and shows interest in your well being. This is a very rare find among doctors.
Dr. Wu was referred by a co-worker. He was very professional, attentive, and took his time with my examination.
