About Hilary Zeltner
Hilary Zeltner is a New York State licensed acupuncturist. She received a Master’s of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She gained her initial experience by treating patients at one of the leading acupuncture clinics in the nation at NYU Langone Hospital in New York City.
Hilary specializes in the treatment of various pain syndromes including chronic headache, neck, back and sinus pain, anxiety and asthma. We treat women’s health issues, most prominently infertility because of the ability of acupuncture to increase blood flow to the ovaries and uterus and also to correct chemical imbalances.
The practice has also provided relief for menopause, dysmenorrhea, and PMS. In addition, we have great expertise in the reduction of small fibroids, thereby eliminating the need for surgery. Hilary provides treatment to reduce the debilitating pain suffered by many cancer and autoimmune patients. A recent study highlighted in the Journal of the American Medical Association Oncology notes that “acupuncture can serve as a viable, non-drug therapy to combat cancer pain.” It can moderate or reduce side effects from cancer treatment leading to a better quality of life with less fatigue, nausea and muscle pain.
Hilary also offers a unique service that works to strengthen the body’s internal organs through the art of oriental exercise. She received this specialized training from the Chinese master Mr. Gu and now teaches his methods at the Dorot Senior Center in Manhattan. The results can be quite amazing as seniors as old as 95 years of age frequently attest to renewed good health and well-being in part due to Mr. Gu’s methods, which includes teaching people something they can do at home to learn self-healing.

When I first started treatment with Hilary, I had slight hypothyroidism. My primary wanted to put me on levothyroxine but I wanted to see if acupuncture could help.
After months of treatment with Hilary, my TSH level was borderline within the normal range. After more several months of treatment, my TSH levels are now in the middle of the range.
Hilary not only helped me with my thyroid issues, but also improved my overall state.

Hillary Zeltner has been well trained by Chinese Masters (that's a big deal).
She is caring, thorough, and, most importantly I feel better after my treatment. She has relieved pain in my shoulder, helped my sinuses, but the biggest thing is the general feeling of enhanced well-being that I feel when I see her regularly.
She is a highly skilled individual practitioner and a very nice person to boot.

After my first acupuncture treatment that I received with Hilary, I had the best night of sleep that I’ve had in 4 years. After having 2 babies, a lot of sleepless nights and a very stressful job, I needed help. I had back pain that would shoot down my leg with my second pregnancy, lots of lower back pain and migraines. I’ve been told for years that I should try acupuncture and I’m glad I finally did. I am continuing weekly treatments as I’ve heard that the effects increase with regular treatment and so far so good. When I sleep, I wake up rested and my back pain has dissipated. Hilary is great, she continually checks to make sure you’re okay as she goes. The office is really relaxing and peaceful. I just feel taken care of when I’m there. I would highly recommend this office, and a Hilary especially, to anyone who is looking to start taking care of themselves.
