“This was the most efficient experience I've ever had in a doctor's office. It runs like clockwork from the moment I made the appointment online, through confirmation of benefits, no-wait office visit and tap-to-pay exit. The doctor and his staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is a strong sense of expediency but I never felt rushed, neglected or pressured. I've visited 4 times so far - early morning, late morning, lunchtime, and mid-afternoon - and my experience was consistent at all of them. I'm transferring a family member from another provider to Dr Helms and have recommend him to several others. Very happy with my experience. ”

About Dr. Hollis Helms
Whatever Dr. Helms does, he is firm, positive and enthusiastic in his approach. If you are looking for a doctor who is gentle and effective, who wont order unnecessary tests, is highly credentialed, available when you need him and will show abundant concern for you, then you are in the right office.
A native of Texas, Dr. Helms received his primary and secondary education at Amarillo Christian Schools. He received his pre-chiropractic training at Lubbock Christian University. After graduating from Texas Chiropractic College, he interned at the famed T.C.C. Clinic in Houston, receiving his license to practice in Texas in 1987.
Dr. Helms constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of chiropractic and has completed extensive study in Texas Chiropractic College post-graduate programs.
Dr. Helms is a member of the prestigious American Chiropractic Association, The Texas Chiropractic Association, and the Texas Chiropractic College Alumni Association. Dr. Helms is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and served as a Designated Doctor for the Texas Workers Compensation Commission.
As well as appearing on radio and television, Dr. Helms wrote a monthly column on sports injuries for a popular ski magazine. Dr. Helms has been in active practice since 1987 at the Thousand Oaks location.
Dr. Helms has called San Antonio home since 1988, and enjoys golf, scuba diving, aviation, the outdoors and spending time with his family.

I am active duty so insurance doesn't cover Chiropractic care. They have good out-of-pocket rates, the staff are friendly and efficient, and Dr. Helms is friendly, fast, and informative. I'm going to stick with their services!

Got in, friendly greeting, given some paperwork to finish. Doctor came right in, explained the full process, gave me his best estimation of what was going on, took some x-rays to confirm, talked me through the process and scheduled follow-up visit to confirm findings. Started treatment with tens massage and lumbar traction. Very thorough, friendly , knowledgeable , and appointment was right on time.

Staff are friendly and professional. I found Dr. Helms to be very knowledgeable in assessing my health concerns, as well as what he saw might be of concern. I appreciate he brought them up, as I recalled some muscle aches that were still there but I previously dismissed. I look forward to my follow-up visit.

Dr Helms and his entire staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the process of my first visit and what to expect. Everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease that my issues with my neck and would be resolved over the course of a few visits. I even received a follow-up call from Dr Helms personally after my visit on his way home. Now that is patient care! Thank you Dr Helms can't wait to begin this healing process.

Both Dr. Helms and Dr. Seidl were extremely professional and informative. The front office staff was attentive and the therapist was also friendly. I was impressed with the level of care I received on the first visit and the services were extremely affordable which was important to me as my insurance doesn’t kick in until the January 1st. Overall, I will be making this my regular chiropractor.

The front office staff was friendly but in my opinion they could have been a bit warmer. The wait time was linger than I expected considering i had done all of my paperwork previously online. I took about 45 min before my i was seen. After that, everything went very smoothly. The staff was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. The treatment did help alleviate a lot of my pain. I will come back again to see how my next visit goes.

The office did not even have my appointment in the system, called me by the wrong name multiple times, and then got my insurance information wrong. Save yourself the trouble and find a different chiropractor.
