She finds deep fulfillment in being useful to her clients and helping them move toward the lives they envision for themselves. Dr. Hartson-Bowyer believes people can truly bloom when they are given the time and space to reflect, focus on personal growth, and reconnect with their strengths. She strives to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences openly, better understand themselves, and work toward becoming the version of themselves they most want to be. Raised in Southwestern Virginia, Dr. Hartson-Bowyer combines the grounded warmth of her Appalachian roots with the friendly openness of her Midwestern family background. After living in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and California, she returned to Virginia to be closer to family—a homecoming that has helped her feel renewed and deeply grounded.
