My new Doc, personable, checks everything! Already recommended him to my best friend.
Pleasant as always, atleast as a Dr. Appt can be. I'm confident in his diagnosis. Very knowledgeable and highly recommended
I highly recommend him! He has wonderful bedside manners. Everyone in the office is nice and helpful. He took time to explain and answer all my questions and concerns.
Good guy, personable and thorough.
Very professional, informative and patient.
He performed a very thorough annual physical. I will return next year when it's time again!
Howard was very easy to get along with, which made me comfortable having the conversation that we did. That said, could've used more context and preface around some of his questions - particularly about my family's cancer history.
Dr. Antosofsky was a super great guy. Made you feel comfortable the entire time and was more like speaking with a friend than speaking with a doctor. Would highly recommend
Very very thorough visit, will continue to go back.
Very good experience. Courteous, timely and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. A or the office. I LOVE that they have on-site blood work and sonograms. Very efficient.
Very courteous, personable and helpful! Would definitely recommend, and plan on going back next time I need to see a doctor!
Went for an annual physical and had a chest x-ray, blood work, EKG, echocardiogram, and breathing test done. Dr. Antosofsky is terrific! Great listener, genuine, and doesn't rush you at all. Staff was great as all, efficient and got me through all the tests in a timely fashion.
Dr. Antosofsky is the most caring doctor I have ever been to. He went out of his way to accommodate me and addressed all my issues. His office staff is professional and caring as well. I would definitely recommend his office to others.
Well managed staff, extensive capabilities, thoroughness and quality of care and service.
Great bedside manner and addressed all of my concerns.
Excellent. Professional, thorough, and super nice. Feel like I'm in good hands with someone I can recommend to family and friends.
Dr. Antosofsky was very helpful, the remainder of the staff however was not. I had to wait an hour for an xray and watch 7 people go ahead of me. When the nurse had asked the technician where my papers were she was very rude.
I would avoid, if possible. I've had two relatively routine visits with Dr. Antosofsky, and yet his office was just really careless and made things needlessly complicated each time. It's just not worth it to go back. The first time, I was starting out at a new University in the area, and just figured I should get a check-up and choose a new primary care that isn't a pediatrician. As a sexually active student, during the visit I figured I should ask the Dr. for an STD test as part of the check-up (even though I knew it would be negative). That was a mistake. Antosofsky seemed bizarrely aghast (/randomly judgmental) about what's always been a totally routine test my previous Dr.'s even offered to me if I forgot to ask. I really learned to regret asking for the test, as during the entire process I had to explain multiple times to not just Antosofsky or nurses, but inexplicably reception(!) that I wanted an std test. Moreover, they apparently didn't bother to even submit the paperwork to my insurance (which makes no sense) so 1 month later I get a bill in the thousands for a procedure my insurance of course covered (and then, of course, have to call reception then get transferred to billing, explaining each time that I'm calling about an std test). Now 6 months later, this next appointment (for routine vaccinations), has basically the exact same problem. His office apparently doesn't carry one of the vaccines, so he writes me a prescription for the vaccine and tells me to go to a pharmacy to get it (which sounded weird, I've never picked up a prescription of a literal vaccine injection before). Unsurprisingly, I get to the pharmacy and he made a mistake. Only Dr.'s are meant to give the injections, so of course the insurance won't cover it unless it's received at a Dr.'s office, and I apparently completely wasted my time and need to make another appointment. Now normally this would be easily fixed by just calling the office to let them know the pharmacy/insurance says they need to order the vaccine themselves and can't prescribe it... Nope, not easy at all in Dr. Antosofsky's office! I inexplicably have to explain the details of my (100% routine) vaccines again and again, as I'm transferred 3 times--which honestly, I don't even understand how they can have so many phone lines for such a small office--before finally being told, someone would "talk to the office manager who orders vaccines and call you right back". Of course, I never get called back. If I can't get the person who basically orders the pens on the phone, I can't imagine being able to easily talk to my Dr if I had any important issues or questions. Honestly, going to Dr. Antosofsky is like a horrible mix of landing in both a Dostoyevsky novel and a 20 hour customer service call with Time Warner Cable.
Thorough, and takes time to get to know your medical background. He did not rush the visit.
Doctor is great but the office is very dirty and disorganized. It really wasn't a clean facility so that's never a good feeling when you're at the doctor's office as you question how sterile they keep the right things and follow good procedure to prevent germ spread...
Dr. Antosofsky was very professional and friendly. The staff was great too.
Dr. A has been my primary physician for over 20 years. He is caring, sensitive to my special needs, and spends time talking with me after my full physical. The office staff are great. I highly recommend him and Manhattan INternal Medical Associates.
Dr. Antosofsky is very professional & patient. He was very attentive w/ my medical concerns and needs, and did his best to be thorough with his examination.
Doctor Antosofsky was very friendly and pleasant. The office he is part of is well equipped. I was able to even receive an ultrasound procedure without any pre-scheduling. Still more tests to run, but I feel confident I've made a good choice.
He was attentive and answered all my questions in an easy going manner. He explained everything in terms I could understand, and provided comfort as well.
This was my first visit with this Dr. He was referred to me by my co-worker and I was so pleased with him, he was very kind and pleasant. He is very thorough. I enjoyed my visit and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care. He is going to be my primary care doctor from now on. My appointment was for 3 and I got there at 1:47 the office was very busy but I was in by 3:00. Tuesdays are very busy. The person who took me in was very nice also. I am pleased
Very professional. Well run operation.
Great experience for a first time patient.
Dr Howard is a nice doctor! Went there after just moving to NYC and he did some extensive tests to make sure he had a complete overview of my medical status.
Dr A has been my PCP for the last 14 years. I would never go to anyone else. He is thorough, personable, and a great guy. I can't say enough great things about him and the office staff.
He was a really great doctor with great bedside manner. I did wait an awful long time to be seen but it was just a busy day I think.
I called and booked an appointment immediately because I felt terrible. I had a fever, headache, vomiting, and horrible aches. After going to the appointment I was told to call back tomorrow to get my blood results and see what the doctor could do for me. I called the next day at noon and they told me I missed him. I called the following day and they transferred me to a machine, I never got s response. I wasn't called back until Monday... 5 days after my appointment and by then I had already suffered through the virus on my own. It was completely unprofessional and left such a bad taste in my mouth.
As a college student needing a quick annual check-up, everything was very satisfactory and professional--no complaints. Although it doesn't strike me much as the type of place that would work out well for someone looking to get to know their doctor very well. Despite being a private practice contained in only 1 floor, it really gave the feeling of a large impersonal hospital trying to move you in and out.
Professional, friendly; staff was a bit frazzled; alot of patients and alot of doctors, but they were good as well.
My experience just couldn't be better. I'm happy I found this doctor! And the people at the medical practice were so nice. Excel.lent.
Very polite and professional. He is very thorough and immediately addressed my concerns with no speculation. He is also very friendly and appears to have a competent and professional staff. Would definitely recommend.
Doctor was very attentive, polite and thorough. Would highly recommend.
Great doctor and a decent human being! What more could you need. Definitely my new doctor.
Sooo many Dr's. in NYC are too fast - too rushed - and not friendly. Dr. Antosofsky was fantastic. Asked a ton of questions. Told some great stories. Was just all around relaxing and professional.
Dr. Antosofsky is the best doctor! He listens to you and answers all your questions. He is by far the best doctor I have ever been too.
Completely worth the trek across the city from upper west! The ENTIRE staff was warm, inviting, productive and professional. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Antosofsky and his team.
Dr. A was great! Would definitely recommend and go back to him.
Dr. Antosofsky is a very professional and courteous physician. My only concern with the kind doctor is that I felt at times that I needed to "pull" answers out of him regarding test results and/or reasons behind certain ailments or conditions. Dr. Antosofsky has a very calm demeanor about him which is comforting. However, I felt at times that his calm demeanor was a little too laid back which concerned me when discussing my medical issues. Thankfully, all of my questions and concerns, including my wife's, were answered. I just wish that I didn't have to always figure out the right questions to ask in order to get the needed answers regarding test results and medical condition(s).
The visit to the doctor's office was mixed. Dr. Antosofsky was very professional and attentive. I only wish that the doctor would be more detailed regarding the findings of test results performed on me. I felt as though I had to ask the "right questions" in order to get the specific answer that was needed. Perhaps the doctor's laid back demeanor is comforting for some, but it can be discerning for me. I, as his patient, need to know what test results mean specifically for me to follow through with what's best to do next. Additionally, the majority of front desk staff appear to need some training on professional mannerism. Most of them do not recognize the value of being professional towards patients even when they are "having a bad day." Furthermore, attentiveness and efficiency appears to be lacking in most of these patient coordinators. Thankfully, Erika is one patient coordinator that appears reliable and professional amongst the rest. She is surely the "go to" person at the front desk, and I wish the same characteristics and skills were shown in the rest of the front desk staff.
I'm not sure I'd want to rate a doctor on the first visit but I can say that he was good natured and professional. His staff was friendly which is encouraging. There was a lot of waiting on one hand, but on the other hand they are equipped to do X-rays, ultrasounds etc, so I didn't have to make appointments for tests elsewhere on separate days.
Followup on physical exam test results. Quick and and easy and even remembered what we talked about a month ago.
excellent; great friendly and informative staff; very well run facility.
The doctor and his staff were very pleasant and professional.
Dr Antosofsky was very pleasant. The office overall was very dated, but the staff was very nice, no major complaints.
MD was very attentive and warm. The office staff was also very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Antosofsky.
I often find that doctors want you in and out without ever really taking the time to speak with you for more than a minute. Dr. A seems like he really cares and I did not feel rushed during my three visits with him what so ever. I have had stomach issues for years now and have been dismissed by multiple physicians who wrote it off as a belly ache or something like that but Dr. A helped me figure out what my problem really is and I am very thankful to him for being professional and thorough. Thanks Dr. A.
Super nice and made me feel confortable.
Very friendly and efficient.
Always a positive experience with this very friendly, knowledgeable doctor
Dr. Antosofsky was very friendly and really seemed to care about my symptoms and was clear about his plans to find out what was wrong.
