About Hugh Kim

Hugh Kim is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM), licensed acupuncturist, and certified Chinese herbalist. Growing up in his grandfather’s oriental medicine clinic in Korea, he was inspired to become an acupuncturist. After graduating college, he pursued his interest by earning a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, located at 200 Corporate Pointe, Culver City, CA 90230. He continued his studies and earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Since 2003, he has been practicing for 20 years, specializing in pain management, digestive issues, women’s health, neuropathy, spine and joint-related conditions, and stress management. He utilizes acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxibustion, and auriculotherapy in his treatments. His goal is to be a practitioner who understands patients’ concerns and needs and to guide people in the right direction on their journey to healing both mind and body.
