Dr. Huma Rashid is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Jinnah Sindh Medical University. Dr. Rashid completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. She has been practicing medicine since 1999 and moved to Arizona in 2013 to accompany her husband. Since then, she has worked as a hospitalist at Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

I came in to get checked out for a specific problem but she was insistent on having me do a physical instead of checking out the problem I specifically indicated for my appointment. She then wanted to do blood work for the physical and kept talking about having her be my PCP. she then finally looked at my problem after multiple times of me telling her I don’t need a PCP. After looking at my problem, she referred me to a GI doctor that was worst than her. Ocotillo primary care was mediocre and Dr Raja Khosla @ Sonoran gastroenterology that I was referred to is a scam. The waiting room was okay but the patient room was not impressive. Not a mere glove in sight. The front desk and medical assistant were pleasant. Appt took 5 minutes and she wanted me to book an appointment 6 months down the road for a follow up when she’s referring to someone else.
