“The doctor was good and he was kind, but the entire staff speaks in Spanish and all the reminder text messages come in Spanish even when I said I do not speak the language. There was no change even when asked to update text preferences. I was told it is automated and they had no control over the language preferences. One of the nurses also explained things in Spanish and when I said I do not understand, her response to me was "okay, I understand " and then nothing was clarified by her. ”

“Dr. Khorshidi is a very professional and experienced gastroenterologist. He takes care of all your needs and he actually listens to all your concerns. His office does the endoscopy exam on certain days and his staff is very helpful. Just be sure you have someone with you especially if your problems are severe, so that he can address the issue right away.”

About Dr. Igal Khorshidi
Dr. Khorshidi is skilled in both General and Advanced Endoscopy with a background in Internal Medicine from Albert Einstein's Montefiore Medical Center, Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation from Maimonides Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Khorshidi has a new state of the art Endoscopy center in office, in order to provide convenience for his patients.
Dr. Khorshidi has the ability to provide excellent care in common clinical conditions such as Colorectal Cancer Screening, Chronic Constipation, Anemia, Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease, Swallowing Disorders, Peptic Ulcer Disease, Acid, Bloating, Gas, as well as more complex diseases of the GI tract, including Pancreatic, Biliary, and Liver diseases.
Dr. Khorshidi has authored over 20 papers in the treatment of Gastrointestinal Diseases and has received several distinguished research awards from the American College of Gastroenterology and New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Khorshidi continues to devote his free time to clinical research to better serve his patient population. His latest peer-reviewed journal publication was in collaboration with Professor Lawrence J. Brandt, former President of the American College of Gastroenterology and Chief of Gastroenterology at Albert Einstein’s College of Medicine.

I waited an hour and twenty mintues to finally see the doctor. He was in such a rush, that I hope we’re identifying the problem properly. I pointed to the area that I have pain, but I’m not sure if it was taken seriously.

When i got to the office i was greated by front desk they were polite. I waited about an hour its understandable the place was busy. It means the doctor takes time to assess there patient. When i saw the Doctor he was cool he got me the medication that i needed. I was scheduled for follow up. Then i left.
