I dedicate time to teaching them so they can make informed decisions about their care. My journey to mental healthcare From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to care for people. My passion for nursing began while I was taking care of my grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimer's. Additionally, my interest in psychiatry stems from growing up in Nigeria, where mental illness was often stigmatized, hidden, and shamed. My goals for you I encourage patients to adhere to their medication, without judgment for any missed doses. Our first session Empathy, respect, and kindness are my core values.
