Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Trimzi has over 20 years of experience in the field of psychiatry. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU). Dr. Trimzi completed his residency in psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine in July 2001. He further pursued his career and successfully completed fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in June 2003, where he also served as chief fellow from July 2002 to June 2003. During this time, he was an assistant instructor at the University of Pennsylvania, actively involved in teaching junior residents and medical students. Dr. Trimzi worked as the Program Director of the Delaware Psychiatric Residency Program from October 2007 to July 2017. He practices general, child, and addiction psychiatry. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Jefferson Medical School and Drexel Hahnemann University School of Medicine.
