“He is a medication management doctor only, which means that it's best to bring in what prescriptions yo? already have from a previous doctor. He rushes yo? and interrupts a lot, but that's the main experience I've had with many doctors. Yes, a 10 minute follow up appointment that is followed "to a T" is an absolute joke. But then again, it makes sense because he is a doctor. Most regular doctors I've ever seen only tend to meet with yo? for 5 minutes too. He doesn't really give yo? any "elbow room" to request a certain medication, to increase your dose, etc. But after all, he is the doctor, right? Right now I am trusting in his decisions about what medications to increase, etc. He really does seem to care about me, but it's just done in a very blunt, direct and "transactional" manner. As for me, I'd say that I'm starting to get better. My only complaint so far is that I can't get eno?gh ADHD medication to cover my whole day, which presents a problem for me career-wise. But for any patients who have come in to see a doctor about their ADHD, they can also probably tell yo? stories about how difficult it can be to get their proper dosage from a doctor, as this particular medication is heavily controlled. I really hope he can help me more with that part. I also suggest taking your ADHD medication before your appointment, as he likes to be addressed with politeness and agreeability. I've noticed this with all my previous doctors too, as they will immediately terminate yo? as a patient if yo? shout at them!”

They sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy (it didn’t even really matter which one it was, as long as it wasn’t Walgreens) and then refused to resend it to another pharmacy after being alerted to the fact they were unable to transfer the medication and that it wouldn’t be covered by my insurance. I’m now looking for another appointment just so I can get a new script, even though the only reason I can’t get the other is because they sent it to the wrong place. The doctor was very short with me, even if I am able to resolve the medication situation, only go here as a last resort.

Doesn't really listen to you while you talk. He constantly cuts you off while you speak. I told him I wanted to be off of antidepressants as they weren't helping me. He insisted I go up to 100mg instead of 50 and then proceeded to ask me what I wanted to do. YOU'RE THE DOCTOR. As if he could diagnose me my first time meeting him in the span of 15 minutes. He doesn't really care about his patients. The waiting room was empty the ENTIRE time I was there.
Going to Dr. Rasul is like going to the dentist...it's something that can be unpleasant, depending on many factors. I have seen a lot of people write very negative reviews about him concerning his ice-cold bedside manner and abrupt speaking style. He is most certainly a narcissist at times, but at other times he can he laid back. Unfortunately it's like a Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde kind of situation. Many other patients have called his practice a "pill mill", which is something I have never experienced with him, in fact quite the opposite. He wanted to take me off my benzodiazepine cold turkey as if he had never heard about benzo withdrawal. This leads me to my last point concerning him. You can sense that Dr. Rasul has no idea what it is personally like to suffer form a mental condition, or what it's like to come off of medication without tapering. He's clueless and heartless about it. I was wondering why the waiting room was so empty when I was there....
He barely seemed to listen to anything I said. Would not answer any questions I had directly. Very unsatisfied with the experience.
Very impressed
Dr. Radio is nice. He is caring and professional.
Very good
He's very nice and I like him a lot but he wants to see me every two weeks and with my inability to drive that's just not possible a lot of times.
Dr. Rasul was horrible and I advised anyone reading this to go see anyone else. He asked me survey type question wrote me a prescription and that was it. I don’t feel like I got anything accomplished. I really believe this guy is in business only for the money and cares nothing about helping people.
Definitely not returning. I’ve seen many psychiatrists over the last 20 years and never had such a cold, sterile interaction. I can’t imagine how he could possibly learn about or diagnose patients with the stilted, limited questions and failure to listen.
Dr. Rasul was amazing! He had great bedside manner, and unlike most psychiatrists, he spent a great deal of time with me so he could meet meet my needs medically.
Awesome and very attentive!
Very helpful
If I had not called to confirm they would have no record of appointment. He over books significantly, did not afford me time to explain my issues either fully or at all
I can't speak any better on behalf of Dr. Rasul and the front desk. They were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. After battling horrible doctors and mental issues since I was a child I've finally left a doctor feeling confident! He was amazing, patient, comfortable to speak to and made sure to actually address my issues of concern!
Dr. Rasul is very kind & attentive his memory of my precious visits is astounding. I really feel like he cares about my health & well being. I feel safe talking to him & thats important.
The visit was very up lifting and 100% worth coming to. The Dr. I feel is very much about my recovery as I am, my opinion. I think anyone who is addicted needs to come to Dr. Rasul to seek help to become clean.
It was everything I hoped for -- professional, listened, asked the right questions, etc. Will have more to report after future visits I'm sure.
supportive and solution oriented
Superb! Dr. Rasul was extremely thorough, kind, professional, and responsive. I have had only one appointment with Dr. Rasul, but this far, I'd provide one big "thumbs-up"
