Getting to know Indizo Moon
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP), I hold a Master's degree in Nursing Science from Maryville University and am in the process of obtaining my doctorate. I am also certified as an ADHD - Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). Before becoming an RN, I was a massage therapist for around a decade, working mainly in many of Colorado's beautiful ski towns. Throughout my nursing and nurse practitioner career, I have worked with incarcerated persons, those overcoming addiction, in community mental health, as well as with patients seeking treatment for conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.
I believe in partnership with my patients. To build treatment plans together, I take the time to understand your concerns, goals, values, strengths, challenges, and preferences, as well as provide the information you need to understand and make informed decisions about your diagnosis and treatment options. I also value and foster the provider-patient relationship by always being honest with you. I have had enough experiences in life, personally and professionally, to understand that each of our lives is as unique as it is universal. You can expect from me nonjudgment, humor, and understanding.
You are the expert on you; your experience is the most important element in mental health and often indescribable to others. As such, I offer the support and empowerment to help you take control of your psychiatric care.

Rising Moon Mental Health is partnered with Mindful Support Services aka Mindful Therapy Group (MTG), to ensure we can meet our patients’ needs outside of appointments. After you reach out here on Zocdoc, I will let my schedulers / front desk know to reach out to you. They will contact you and help get you scheduled, get any IDs/insurance cards, and set up new patient forms. They are wonderful at what they do and will reach out quickly as well as make sure you have any and all information you may need.
Currently, I am accepting new patients and have room on my schedule to get you an appointment within the same week you reach out. Should my schedule not meet your needs, it may be possible to make a telehealth appointment outside of my normal business hours upon request (currently Tues - Thurs 2-8 pm, though I will be expanding my normal hours soon).
Rising Moon Mental Health can now connect you with a therapist via our relationship with MTG, for in office and telehealth visits.
What is your typical process for working with clients?

Psychiatric Assessment
The initial appointment typically takes 50 - 60 minutes, during which we will complete a thorough assessment and develop a treatment plan. The treatment plan is created in collaboration with you. It is important that your treatment plan reflect your unique concerns, preferences, values, goals, and strengths. We will also discuss what you can expect from me as well as any prescribed medications.

She answered my appointment for the first 3-4 appointments. When I tried to book an appointment with her again through ZocDoc after a few months, she never got back to me before or after the supposed appointment. It is really difficult to reach her because she does not have a solid platform of communication.
