I am a person on the ASD spectrum, this is the first time I’ve ever cried at a doctors office. The nurse’s tone and demeanor was very cold and almost seemed annoyed which but after she saw me cry I explained I am ASD she became more warm which was nice and appreciated. However, when the doctor came in the nurse had told her something completely different than I had said. To be fair I have a hard time explaining. I expressed my concerns to the doctor because I have done extensive research and have spoken to many other doctors who have referred me to rheumatology for HEDS, which is a connective tissue disorder she said she does not treat that or diagnose it, which I didn’t understand. She referred me to a geneticist after explaining my symptoms and before I left, she touched me in a couple areas asked if it hurt I said yes, and she diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Long story short I was gaslit another rheumatologist provider confirmed my HEDS. I told her to further her education on HEDS.

Dr. Greca and her assistant were extremely responsive. They read my records explained to me why I don’t have hip issues and after examination and questions instead needed to fix the outside of my hip which was hip bursitis. I feel so much better today. They are confident and very knowledgeable. I have recommended her to my friends. So lucky!

Dr. Indrit Greta, MD was awesome. This was my first time meeting with her since my prior rheumatologist is on leave. . Dr. Greta was thorough, asked me a lot of questions regarding my health record and background. She made me feel at ease before my procedure.
