Iris is a dual board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner with over two decades of nursing experience. She earned her Master's in Nursing from South University in Richmond. Iris is an advocate for women's health and hormonal imbalances, early adult prevention of anxiety and depression, LGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming mental health care, and PTSD. Her approach to mental health is grounded in providing individualized, holistic care and educating patients on psychopharmacological and therapeutic techniques. She is committed to helping patients achieve balance, self-discovery, and growth, providing a safe and supportive environment for you to be your authentic self. Iris is a passionate advocate for the underserved, dedicating time to programs that improve access and resources within the mental health community. She is clinically fluent in Spanish and enjoys practicing Pilates and yoga, traveling to learn about different cultures, and attending Salsa dancing events.
