Gootnik told my daughter and another doctor that I requested a benzodiazepine, which I would never have done . That would have been totally contraindicated when all I requested was my monthly stimulant RX (Focalin) This is the 2nd time I suspected he had dementia but confirms it for me.

Dr. Gootnick is both psychological minded as well as understanding the dilemma of getting not only the right medication, but that the quality of medication is important for me. He has a very caring, direct manner. The view of mountains and trees from his window is extremely soothing. I appreciate Zocdoc for leading me to this truly important meeting.
Great appointment! I ended up rescheduling APT to an earlier date after the office contacted me to confirm scheduling immediately. Office location is beautiful and serene, was seen on time at his office location per the scheduled time I arranged with him by phone (non consistent with Zocdoc time). Would recommend doctor to anyone seeking a Psychiatrist or counselor, benefit is he’s a doctor.
