About Dr. Isaiah Schuster
Dr. Isaiah Schuster is a highly trained double board-certified interventional gastroenterologist who specializes in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. After obtaining his medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook, he completed his internal medicine and gastroenterology fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was appointed and served as chief fellow. He furthered his expertise with an additional fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Schuster has been actively involved in clinical research and has had numerous presentations at national meetings and has authored peer reviewed publications as well as book chapters. Dr. Schuster manages patients across the entire spectrum of gastroenterology and hepatology with areas of expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures. These include endoscopic mucosal resection, radiofrequency ablation, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and luminal stenting. Dr. Schuster is fluent in both Russian and English.
