Dr. Jacquelyn Wyman, lovingly known as Jacquie by her patients and staff, is a 1985 graduate of New England College of Optometry located in Boston, MA. After graduating, she moved to the Phoenix area where she worked at the Dulaney Eye Clinic. Since 1988, Dr. Wyman has been with Akers Pearson Eyecare (previously Pearson Eyecare Group) caring for the eye health of generations of families and celebrating milestones with her patients who return year after year. She specializes in family eye care with a focus on contact lenses and managing the symptoms of aging eyes. In addition to her 40+ years of experience, Dr. Wyman has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1987 and is also a member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the Central Arizona Optometric Association. Dr. Wyman has two adult children and a grandson, who she adores. Outside the exam room, she seeks out adventure through travel and cruises to see the world, and in her free time she enjoys staying active with hiking and going to the gym.
