About Jaimie Abeler

Jaimie brings a well-rounded approach with nearly ten years of experience in labor and delivery, along with time spent as a missionary OB provider, adjunct professor at the University of Northwestern – Saint Paul, and lactation counselor.
Jaimie earned her Master's in Women's Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and holds a Bachelor's degree from Bethel University. Native to Minnesota and having grown up on a lake, Jaimie says, “There are few things you can't solve with time on a boat on a Minnesota summer day, a good cup of coffee, and chocolate.” :) At home, she and her husband have the joy of chasing around their darling toddler while trying to capture each moment of busy family life together. They enjoy movies, coffee (notice a repeating theme here), travel, biking, farm-to-table restaurants, and being involved with their church community.

Horrifyingly bad experience.
Transgender intersex - was cussed out by the receptionist just for showing up. Staff also used profanity/slurs within earshot of me without asking any form of question as to the purpose of my visit - bizarre, horrible and unsafe experience.
Have perfectly valid vaginal health concerns (born with not surgically created), that were not addressed and I was automatically rejected/asked to wait in below 0 temp outside lobby for my ride.
This was clarified to staff well in advance and they apparently both did not receive the communication or send me any clarifying info. Humiliating and unsafe.
Office also claimed communication and appointment cancellation that I have 0 record of?...
Horrific experience, did not feel physically or emotionally safe dealing w/ front office staff as a gender minority due to my intersex status...
Will be seeking a different clinic for vaginal/body health concerns in the future and urge others to do the same.

Doctor was very nice however I was there for my annual wellness check and I had to ask her to complete a few tasks (look over the skin on my back) that I assumed were a part of my overall wellness.
When I scheduled my appointment, I requested lab work to be done. I came in prepared and she quickly changed gears and got me into the lab but I felt the entire visit was a bit unorganized and rushed.
