About Dr. Jaimie Glick
Jaimie Glick, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who treats patients of all ages–including pediatric and adolescents–with a specialty in acne, rosacea, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a highly regarded, compassionate physician who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Glick earned her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine where she was honored with the Benjamin Bender MD Award for Excellence in Clinical Dermatology. She completed her medical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and returned to SUNY Downstate for her residency in dermatology. In addition to conducting laser research in acne scarring, Dr. Glick has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, authored several book chapters and has given numerous lectures in dermatology. She believes strongly in educating her patients and working together to enhance skin health and beauty. She is thrilled to join the team at New York Dermatology Group. Dr. Glick is an identical twin, lives in Manhattan, is an avid tennis player, a world traveler, and a general sports enthusiast.

The staff was friendly- professional. I waited about 25 minutes until I saw the Dr. Who was knowledgeable and asked pertinent questions. She listened to me, examined me, and provided a course of treatment with some follow-up.

I waited over 40 minutes and there was only 1 other patient in the office. I submitted my forms to Zoc Doc as well as to the office beforehand and they did not have them. I had tried to avoid having to do it all in the office but I had no choice. Both Dr. Glick and her assistant Andi were not personable at all. Very matter of fact. No bedside manner. My visit was very quick and I felt rushed when I had questions at the end. If you want a doctor with a good bedside manner this is not the doctor for you. I will say the receptionist was very nice and the office was beautiful and clean.

Dr. Glick. listened intensely to my issues and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I felt extremely comfortable with her and her medical assistant. If you are looking for a dermatologist who is both a good listener and diagnostician, I would definitely recommend you make an appointment with Dr. Glick.

I have been dealing with warts for years, and my previous dermatologist wasn’t the best, nor was their office the cleanest. Dr. Glick, however, is attentive and explains every procedure in detail, yet manages to work fast so you can be in and out. However, the attention to detail is perfect and I couldn’t be more thankful to Dr. Glick and her staff.

Dr. Glick and her staff were extremely professional. She took time to listen to all my issues and addressed them in a way that was easy for me to understand. I had a full body check, wart removal and discussion about the dryness I feel on my feet. She also addressed a nail issue I have. She noticed some precancerous growth on my forehead and we discussed a treatment for that as well. I have also seen Dr.Glick for the past five years for cosmetic treatments and happy to have recommended her to several of my friends as well. All of whom were more than thrilled with their results.

Dr. Glick was able to properly identify what was going on and explain to me how previous dermatologist (at a different practice) had misdiagnosed me. Visit was quick and wait time was minimal. Staff were all very pleasant and the waiting area was nice.

Very fancy office, probably not paid for by health insurance! I suspect they do a lot of elective procedures.
Overall the office was efficient and pleasant, and I'd say the same for the doctor.
The doctor was thorough and helpfully took the time to write down her recommendations
Negative - the products she recommended were very expensive - one body wash that's three to four times what typical drugstore products are - and a prescription that she was sure would not be covered by insurance but she said was the "gold standard." It would be better to get a sense of the patient's price sensitivity and recommend appropriate products.
I'll follow the recommendations and see how well they work for me.
