About James Cory Cleveland
Cory Cleveland, FNP-C is proud to be serving patients at the Dawsonville location of Pandya Medical Center. Born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia, Cory graduated top of his class from Georgia College and State University in May of 2021, earning his Master's in Family Nursing. He has been practicing in primary care and urgent care settings for a year, managing acute and primary care needs of patients from age 2 and beyond. Prior to completing his nurse practitioner degree, he practiced as a Registered Nurse for 9 years. He began his career in 2012 in a rural Emergency Department in his hometown. After 3 years, he spent a year in a busy Level II trauma center in Gainesville, Georgia, before transferring to Northside Hospital in Forsyth. There, he worked as charge nurse and staff nurse in Interventional Radiology for 5 years, caring largely for oncology patients.
Cory has a true heart for serving others and strives to develop genuine, trusting, and lasting relationships with his patients. He believes in individualizing care to each patient's unique needs and empowering them through education and counseling to be proficient caretakers of their own bodies and chronic health conditions.
He now lives in Cumming, Georgia, with his wife, Hope, and 2 beautiful daughters, Piper and Collins. He is known to be a devoted Georgia Bulldog fan, a follower of Christ, a teller of dad jokes, and a lover of country music. In his free time, he can be found spending time with friends and family, frequenting local ice cream shops and/or the gym, or catching up on his favorite TV shows.

Corey was great I wasnt feeling well and was thankful I was able to book with him. Had a bad experience at urgent care the previous day and when I saw Corey he listened and got me the right medication and was caring and listening. Day 2 of meds and with a injection and im feeling better then I have in 3 weeks. Thanks Corey and thank you pandya medical I love all the staff there.
