Dr. James D. Gould, an internationally recognized pioneer, expert, and researcher of In-Office Balloon Sinus Dilation, is the founder and medical director of Synergy ENT Specialists and the St. Louis Sinus Center.
Dr. Gould is a board-certified Otolaryngologist who completed his residency training at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis - the nation's premiere Otolaryngology program. While at the University, Dr. Gould received special honors for his award winning research in basic science.
Dr. Gould has a special interest in Allergy and Rhinology and is a Fellow of both the American Rhinologic Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Gould is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the American Medical Association.

I was seen by Maggie at the Festus, MO office. She was extremely attentive and asked clarifying questions. She made sure I understood what she was doing during the exam and she asked me if I had all of my concerns answered. I was very comfortable with her and I will see her for a follow up. This was a great way to get ENT information quickly. We did not see the doctor - we saw a nurse practioner - but she was able to answer our questions and the wait was 1 day rather than 2+ weeks. They had in-house C-T scans while our Wash U ENT sends us to another location. Would definitely use again to figure out what is going on quickly. (appointment was for my son, who has chronic sinus issues. I would probable choose a pediatric surgeon for future surgery)

It was my first time using Zodoc so I was a little skeptical about the appointment and insurance acceptability. But everything went well. The staff was friendly, clear in communication, and were patient listeners. I would recommend the center and the doctor.

I saw PA, Molly and she was wonderful. Clear communicator, walked me through my results and also very friendly. I feel very informed after my visit with a clear gameplan of what is next. I plan to help my dad make an appt here having had such a positive experience.
In addition to Molly, you can tell the office is extremely organized, they work as a team and move very efficiently.

I didn’t see Dr Gould, but did meet with Dr/Ms Alexander (I think). She is very personable & knowledgeable. It’s a credit to the practice that she would be a part of their team. My understanding is that I’ll meet Dr Gould when I have my procedure in a few months.

? the best part is, he solved my sinus problems after seeing three other doctors who couldn’t figure out what was wrong and even made me feel like the pressure in my face was all in my head. I finally found relief here. ? my concerns were taken seriously I was provided with answers and provided with the solution. I highly recommend him. He delivers exceptional care and generally make you feel valued as a patient.

I was surprised at how quickly I was seen. The office staff was helpful and answered all my questions. I seen a nurse first and she took my vitals then spoke with me about why I was coming in today. I had an ear test run and a CT scan done. Then she said the PA would be in shortly to go over the test. In less then 5 mins Morgan Uetrecht PA-C came in and reviewed the CT scan and talked about the next step which will be an out patient balloon surgery, the nurse came back in and set up my appointment for my surgery within two weeks. I was so pleasantly pleased with the whole experience at the St. Louis Sinus Center. They are top notch there.
