About Dr. James Kane III

Dr. Kane chose to become a chiropractor after experiencing its restorative benefits following an injury he sustained during his undergraduate studies at UC, Davis. Once he experienced the power of chiropractic, he changed his course of study from veterinary school to chiropractic school. He completed his doctorate at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. In addition to providing quality chiropractic care, Dr. Kane is also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and a Certified Integrative Health Practitioner. With these post doctorate certifications, Dr. Kane is able to evaluate and assist patients in balancing their digestion, hormones, thyroid function, weight, and other common health issues. Dr. Kane recently relocated from Lake Tahoe where he owned a multi-disciplinary clinic. He helped families, adventurous seniors, and some of the nation’s most extreme athletes with their injuries, acute care, pain management and rehabilitation, all of which were common in an adventurous resort town. When Dr. Kane and his wife expanded their family with two children, they decided to sell their home and business in Lake Tahoe to embark on a search for the perfect place to raise their children. They moved their family plus 3 dogs into a motorhome and spent almost a year traveling across 20 states looking for their family community. They chose the Lowcountry because of the opportunities for their family, the beautiful beaches, the multitude of sports activities, and the unsurpassed growth and prosperity the Lowcountry has to offer.
