My focus I deal with clients dealing with depression, bipolar and related mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, ADHD, Autism spectrum, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, sleep-wake disorders, feeding and eating disorders, and behavioral and emotional concerns across the lifespan. My approach My approach is evidence-based. I help my patients understand why they are experiencing certain symptoms and how biological, psychological, family, social, and environmental factors may be affecting their mental health. My communication style I believe in open communication based on empathy, collaboration, respect for autonomy, and nonjudgmental exploration. I listen and provide a safe environment where you will feel heard, respected, supported, and confident in your care. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a PMHNP was shaped by witnessing the impact of schizophrenia, severe anxiety, and treatment-resistant depression on individuals and families. These experiences inspired me to pursue compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that reduces stigma, improves access, and brings hope to underserved communities.
