About Jana Hoeft

Jana Hoeft, LAc is a practitioner of East Asian medicines and a licensed acupuncturist in CT and NY. She graduated from Tristate College of Acupuncture in New York City and has been treating patients with many different types of health issues, and specializes in musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. She has extensive training in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture and Acupuncture Physical Medicine. Jana’s approach to treating her patients is based on understanding first hand what it is like being a mother, a professional and sports enthusiast. She creates comprehensive and gentle treatments for her patients based on their specific needs with each patient. While using traditional acupuncture point protocols, she often uses additional modalities such as cupping, Gua-sha, AMMA, moxa, and auricular treatments. She has studied with revered teachers, Kiko Matsumoto, Thea Elijah and Shellie Goldstein. Jana speaks English, Czech, Russian and German and currently lives in New Canaan with her family. Prior to her acupuncture education, she was a trader and a consultant in the financial industry for over 15 years.
