Dr. Beckford has a patient-focused practice, ensuring that patients clearly understand all aspects of their condition and remedies, whether it be an ankle sprain, chronic wound, or reconstructive surgery following trauma. She informs patients about all available options and formulates a personalized recovery plan through close consultation.
Dr. Beckford earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) in New York. She completed her residency as Chief Resident at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System, heading to the States to become a Podiatric Surgeon.
Dr. Beckford is board qualified in Foot Surgery.
She enjoys traveling and has backpacked around the world. Living in Florida allows her to take her boat or bike out year-round.
“Growing up, one of my younger siblings suffered terribly with her feet and sought the help of a very knowledgeable podiatrist in the U.K. She was fitted with orthotics that gave her great relief. That was my first exposure to the profession.
Having my patients come to my office with a problem that I can provide instant relief for is very rewarding.
As a Podiatric Surgeon, I have trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma, limb salvage, cosmetic surgery, and pediatric foot conditions.”

Dr. Beckford was thorough, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I was a little put off by some religious signage posted and religious music being played in the office, but forgot about this once I met with the doctor—she was wonderful. Her team was also warm and professional.

The doctor was very nice and was able to help identify the type of issue I was experiencing with my foot. She also addressed any questions and concerns that I had related to my issue. During my visit, she did have a person on video, but that was for training purposes. Was well aware of that prior anyways by signing a form if it were okay.

Dr. Beckmann is smart & very kind. I was in pain, & she helped me immediately, & suggested some long term treatments. Unfortunately, Medicare doesn’t pay for a lot of podiatry care. ??

There was an issue with my insurance but they agreed to see me with a free consultation. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I was given advice and recommendations for my foot pain. I was even given a sample of the laser therapy for my left foot. Once the insurance issue is resolved, I fully plan on returning.

I highly recommend Dr Beckford; this is the first time someone has identified all the issues with my feet and she had a few solutions for me to decide as the next step. The staff were all pleasant and the office was clean and welcoming; I loved the nature videos. Will definitely be back!

From the time I walked in until I walked out of my first visit I felt as if I had been a patient forever. From the front desk sweetheart to the doctor, everyone had my health concerns on their mind. I am very intentional about my providers and these medical professionals fit the bill. Office was extremely clean and inviting. Dr. Beckford was very thorough with my treatment options and understood my financial situation. She offered options that would benefit me and made sure that we would get through this together. She answered all my questions and concerns, and I am looking forward to continuing my treatment with she and her staff.

I had a fantastic experience with my first visit to Dr. Beckford! The office staff were so friendly and made me feel very welcome. They gave me free podiatrist-approved nail polish and other goodies to take home! Dr. Beckford helped me to understand what was going on with my toenail, took care that nothing was painful, and explained all my treatment options in detail! She was so kind and knowledgeable and I feel extremely comfortable as a patient in her care!

I had read a lot of reviews about people very disappointed with their first trip to a podiatrist so I was apprehensive to say the least. From the moment you walk in the door, everyone is super friendly, greets you like family and when it’s your turn to be seen it’s YOUR TURN. I ve had foot pain 2yrs or so this year the pain has become somewhat intolerable looking for a Podiatrist found Dr. Beckford she is AWESOME!! She took time to hear my issues. She explain everything to me. She has great bedside manners, she didn't judge. The office is bright, comfortable, relaxing, clean,pleasant. The receptionist is WONDERFUL!! she's not rude this was my first visit she did a great job in answering my questions. Dr. Beckford nurse assistant WONDERFUL! was very nice and pleasant. My wait time wasn't long at all. It's like I've know them for a long time. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL!!! YES, I would recommend Dr. Beckford and staff to anyone.
