About Dr. Janel Brink
Janel Brink, MD earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Creighton University and her Doctor of Medicine from Creighton University School of Medicine. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Phoenix, along with Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix. She is a proud member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Janel specializes in obstetrics care, birth control counseling, cervical dysplasia management, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic surgery. She also has an interest in lactation and breastfeeding medicine.
After many years away for her education, Dr. Brink is overjoyed to be home in Colorado once again. She has always had a deep appreciation for exploring the outdoors, especially now with her husband and son. Dr. Brink is an avid Broncos fan and enjoys playing fantasy football.

Had a very disappointment and disheartening first ultrasound appt. I waited in the exam room for nearly 40 mins before the provider came in. She did not even introduce herself or really make eye contact. She got right into it and the whole experience was extremely rushed and honestly confusing. My husband and I were so excited to see our baby and hear the heartbeat and we felt that that the provider was so eager to get to her next patient and allowed us maybe 1 second to hear the heartbeat and flipped the monitor toward us for about the same time. I honestly cried after the appt as it was not what I was expecting. Very bummed as I read reviews prior and this was not the feedback I had come across. Will be switching practices altogether.

I didn’t feel like I was seeing the right doctor. I wish I was referred to a doctor in the practice that specialized in seeing women 60 plus and was more familiar with my medical and other needs and concerns.

First Time patient at South Denver OBGYN, it was a great overall experience. I got there early and filled forms prior so I just had a short one sided page to check off and they saw me right away. Every member of their staff was very kind and made me feel comfortable.
