The lady at the front desk was friendly upon my arrival. The waiting area and the office itself was very clean. A patient asked the front desk lady if she was the other doctor in the picture on the wall next to Dr. Andrews. The receptionist said that it was not her and that if it was her she wouldn’t be at the front desk. She didn’t say it in a rude way, but it was kind of sassy in my opinion. After my husband and I were called back for our appointment, my husband over heard the receptionist asking another staff if she had heard what the patient asked her. My husband and I thought that was very rude and unprofessional to be gossiping about something a patient asked in front of other patients. Other than that and the 45 min wait time to be seen, we had a great experience. Dr. Andrews was super polite, informative, and professional. I’m so happy to have found a black OB-GYN.

I absolutely loved and appreciate how thoroughly Dr. Andrews asked detail holistic questions pertaining to my health + lifestyle. My appointment was a well woman exam and this was the first time I had an Obgyn who facilitated a physically comfortable and painless exam.
For years, I’ve been traumatized by the physicians in the Obgyn space who have disregarded expressed sensitivities, and have just carelessly cranked me open. Representation within the field of medicine matters so deeply and I’m grateful for finding Dr. Andrews because she made my experience feel like a breeze.

She obtained her baccalaureate in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Before pursuing her medical degree, Dr. Andrews taught junior high school health in the Los Angeles area. After completing medical training at the University of Southern California, Dr. Andrews received her residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Andrews spent 7 years in private practice in Spokane, WA prior to relocating to Denver in the fall of 2002.
Dr. Andrews has two lovely children, William and Paige. In her spare time, Dr. Andrews enjoys scrapbooking and rubber stamping. Other interests include travel, reading and skiing.
Dr. Andrews' personal motto is "Live your best life and find joy in all that you do." She strives to have every patient leave the office feeling that all her concerns have been addressed.
We are Colorado Medicaid providers but NOT Denver Health Medicaid.
