About Dr. Janis Jenkins

Dr. Janis Jenkins has been practicing Audiology for over 20 years. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). In addition to being a Doctor of Audiology, she is also a licensed hearing aid dispenser. Dr. Jenkins currently serves as the provider for the Hillsborough, NJ office of American Hearing Centers. The aspect she enjoys most about being an audiologist is getting to know her patients and their families over the years. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her family and visiting art museums. “My goal as a hearing healthcare provider is to improve the communication ability of my patients in order to keep them connected to their family, friends, and community. Educating patients and their families about hearing loss and providing excellent service is my primary focus.”
