Dr. Jasen A. Ruiz Audiologist Meet Dr. Jasen A. Ruiz Dr. Jasen A. Ruiz attended and excelled at Iona College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Dr. Ruiz then continued on to Montclair State University where he earned a Doctorate of Science in Audiology. He has extensive training and experience in vestibular and neurological testing. Dr. Ruiz”s specialized interests focus on the evaluation and fitting of amplification for the adult population. Dr. Jasen A. Ruiz excels in aural rehabilitation and creates a specific plan for each individual patient. He regularly attends continuing education seminars to maintain his expertise in the latest advancements in hearing aid technology. He is an active member and fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). He is certified by Towson University to administer Tinnitus Retraining Therapy for the management of tinnitus and hyperacusis. Dr. Ruiz is a licensed Audiologist in New York and in Florida and holds Hearing Aid Dispensing Licenses in both states.
