What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with people who tend to keep their feelings inside. This might be to preserve their sense of control, or they may feel like sharing their feelings makes them a burden. Holding feelings inside may help them get through the day, but it may also leave them feeling unmotivated, restless and anxious, or fearful. I specialize in helping people recover from problems with mood, anxiety, disordered eating, self-esteem, relationships, and grief. I utilize culturally-responsive, trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to support healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I support and empower clients to re-define their sense of purpose, motivation, and meaning in life. I help you build healthy tools for healing, improving your ability to manage daily responsibilities, navigate life’s challenges, regulate emotions, cope with significant life transitions, make positive behavioral changes, and enhance overall functioning.
