For over 18 years Dr. Price has been dedicated to working with individuals on various cognitive and emotional levels. Although she began her career working specifically with children and adolescents, after receiving specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including training at the world-renowned Beck Institute Dr. Price opened her private practice where she could extend her reach to those of all ages. Dr. Price specializes in using Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques for treating Adults, Adolescents and Children with Anxiety & Depression. Dr. Price also utilizes several forms of Biofeedback technology.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As an Anxiety specialist, I prioritize patients feeling comfortable from the very first session. Dr/Patient rapport is very important, especially for individuals dealing with Anxiety. I want Patients to look forward to their sessions and not have it feel like another anxiety provoking experience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Although I provide both in-office and Telehealth visits, the first session should be in person. It is important for us to establish a full picture of what goals are needed to be accomplished in our work together. At an in-person intake appointment, we can better determine if Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Biofeedback or a combo is needed.
