“The only thing I didn’t like about my first visit was the wait to be seen…. But everything was a smooth process after the fact both the lady that drew my blood(hate that I forgot her name already) and Mrs Emily one of the nurses made me feel so comfortable and once the dr saw me and we spoke I felt heard for you once and he was very specific on what the next steps were but made sure I was okay with said steps. Hopefully I can continue treatment here and finally have my rainbow(??) that I’ve waited years for. ”

HOUSTON BOASTS re its medical expertise, but I FIND that Houston falls way below the standard of care than that of my medical experiences in LOS ANGELES, despite my immediate family's role in medical care that I could always depend upon. A prescription was actually nullified by an L.A. doctor that had been given by a Houston specialist. APPARENTLY, Houston appears to address only 1 DEMOGRAPHIC. The doctors in Houston are generally aligned with either Hermann MEMORIAL, UT, Methodist or the like, to name a few. Yet these medical specialists FAIL to provide the level of care that one receives in Los Angeles, with the exception of one doctor in Houston (UT affiliation), who given her expertise, provided excellent care in her field, despite the lack of displaying any personality traits, i.e., caring. In Houston, my experience falls quite a distance below the standard of care provided in Los Angeles. Houston's medical care is akin to a Factory.

FIRSTLY YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING EVERY TIME! This is my first ever pregnancy experience and I did not find it welcoming and or a pleasant atmosphere. Let’s just say the nicest person I met at this entire medical center was a guy on the elevator going get food for his sister in labor. The entire staff never once smiled or had a friendly demeanor. Dr. Cooper really seemed to listen to everything I told him & even confirmed some of the concerns I had immediately based on his professional experience. Before my appointment he spent about 10mins just having a conversation with me to get to know more about my/family history. He also let me tell him in detail my concerns without making me feel rushed or over dramatic. Which to me is extremely important. He also explained what he was doing (as well as how it would feel) before he did it, I didn’t even have to ask.
This hands do has been my best well woman’s exam so far.
His assistant Emily was also very nice, good communicator & a great listener.
I got my blood drawn at the very end (I hate I forgot her name) but she was very quick & gentle. I’ve had terrible experiences in the past & I was grateful at smoothly how she drew my blood.

The wait time to check in was too long. The Check in line stretched from the check in counter all the way to the opposite wall, completely blocking access to the elevators.
