Originally from California, I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California Davis. I completed medical school at the University of Illinois, Chicago and my adult psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical campus. Prior to working with Sondermind I prescribed and managed psychotropic medications for a diverse patient population in a community mental health setting. I have experience managing psychotropic medications for the treatment of depression, anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders as well as attention and sleep concerns. My approach is collaborative and we will work together to make treatment decisions that are the best fit for you. Although my primary focus is providing medication management I may also utilize psychotherapeutic techniques to improve well being in a supportive and non judgmental environment. I do not provide weekly individual psychotherapy. I am available for video appointments only at this time.
