Dr. Rana is a highly motivated and skilled physician with a thriving internal medicine practice. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere, and completed his internship at Chitageri Hospital. He further honed his expertise through residencies at Franklin Square Hospital Center and Providence Hospital in Internal Medicine. Dr. Rana prides himself on building lifelong relationships with his patients, staff, and fellow physicians. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Made appointment and filled out all the necessary insurance and personal info; was notified that I was ready for my appointment. Arrived at the office to be told—by a receptionist who was on the phone at the same time—that the doctor was leaving early. She didn’t have my appointment on the calendar but very quickly found it, saw it was for a suspected sinus infection, and told me verbatim: “We don’t treat sick people like that here.” If you’d like to see a doctor, this doctor’s office is not the place for you. Avoid at all costs.

Been to about 4 doctor's here in the Northern VA area.
None was as attentive as Dr. Jay is. Helped get me testing to ensure my health was in good shape. Didnt ignore what I had said.
Gave professional recommendation for me. A weight off my shoulders.

Dr. Rana was very professional in handling the requests and took the time to understand the situation and provide recommendations. Fatima, who helped out with the blood work was great and made sure the process was as painless as possible. While I was supposed to get my reports in next 2 days, a week and a half later and after 3 phone calls, I am still waiting to receive my reports.

I spent a total of 45 minutes there for a physical. The Nurse was very helpful and was wonderful to talk to. After running all the tests I waited about 10-15 minutes for the doctor. Doctor was great. Answered all questions. Very nice. Good visit. Note - Parking is $4 and cash only. Be prepared.

I arrived early to fill out my paperwork and was brought back for vitals early as well. The Dr. saw me at my appointed time. He was professional, courteous and friendly. I was a little concerned that his other patients were about 30 years older than I was but I will definitely go back.

I didn't like waiting so long, but knowing that Dr. Rana does hospital rounds when not in the office paired with my scheduling the appointment the day before, after hours, with zocdoc meant he probably didn't know the slot i picked was filled. He answered all my questions.
