I came in for a long overdue PAP, with questions in regards to BV and questionable discharge with a foul odor. I felt rushed, and still in the dark about what is wrong with me. He ran a BV test, said it was negative with no other conclusions, and then told me that "Some women have smelly discharge..." Basically, I'm going to go see someone else.

Dr Matut put me at ease. I was a wreck over the weekend with news that I heard from the ER. Once we examined me thoroughly himself we found that everything was good and he reassured me that everything was okay. I found comfort in his warm bedside manner.

Dr. Matut is wonderful. I've been going to him for two years now, and I couldn't be happier with his manner, knowledge, and treatment. As with most wonderful doctors, I can't say that his front office personnel are delightful. They are efficient, but exude an attitude of apathy and disregard. Oh, well. You can't have it all.
