About Dr. Jeannette Kelly
Jeannette Kelly, D.O., is a non-surgical, osteopathic sports medicine physician who treats orthopedic medical problems for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, including sprained ankles, fracture care, and arthritis management. She takes a holistic approach to medicine, embracing osteopathic philosophies, and routinely practices Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) as an additional treatment option to help manage pain and prevent injuries. OMM can also be used to treat chronic headaches, pregnancy-related pain, carpal tunnel symptoms, and common colds.
Dr. Kelly earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at West Suburban Medical Center and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at MacNeal Hospital. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine.
In addition to treating patients in the clinic, Dr. Kelly serves as a team physician for athletic programs. She continues to participate in organized sports and endurance activities, experiences she finds valuable in serving her patients.
Dr. Kelly is currently accepting patients with musculoskeletal complaints, from sports or work injuries to general aches and pains. Patients are also welcome to see her for OMM treatments, weight loss management, exercise prescriptions, and more.

This hospital makes it very difficult to pay for charges (which were also not mentioned before I left the office.) I HATE receiving a bill later, just charge me everything I owe before I leave. This doctor also had very little to offer in terms of diagnosis and the PT i went to after wasn’t all that great wither.

I had a positive experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. Dr. Kelly was interested in understanding my issue and she took care in considering treatment suggestions. She did not rush to unnecessary X-rays or scans. She also didn't want to push pills. Instead, she wanted to explore more natural approaches first. I also appreciated that the office called the next day to offer further suggestions.
Please note that the office has their own set of paperwork, so you may not want to spend the time filling out the Zocdoc paperwork before your appointment.

The front office staff, nurse who did triage, and the resident I saw were all wonderful! Dr. Kelley was good and she provided the care needed. She diagnosed and gave me direction for treatment. I did feel like she was a little back and forth in her diagnosis, she could have ordered an MRI without me asking about it, and her bedside manner could have been a little more welcoming. But overall what I needed was accomplished.

it's a pandemic and health care workers are so beyond overwhelmed. this office was efficient and friendly, with no significant downtime during my appointment. i recommend giving them a try for sure!
